Trumpeter Swan Story
19in diameter
A family of Trumpeter Swans have made their home in Frenchman’s Bay for many years. This year they raised four cygnets. Sadly one of the cygnets suffered the neglect of a fisherman and became entangled in fishing line. The Toronto Wildlife Rescue Team caught the cygnet and took it back to their facility. It had a fishing hook embedded in its leg which required surgery. When returned to the Bay, it made its way to join its waiting family on the shore. A big Thank You to the Toronto Wildlife Centre for their great work

Accessible Masks for Hearing Impaired
COVID19 has resulted in the need for masks to be worn when out in public, to reduce the chance of passing on the virus. People with a hearing impairment often rely on lip reading to communicate with others, and most masks make this impossible. I have designed masks with clear plastic windows and am making them in various sizes.
